Safe Water Scheme

Drinking water is a big issue in Pakistan. In cities water is available but normally it is not safe to drink. So, water filtration plants are being installed at large scale by International Agencies, Federal & local governments, NGO's and others.

In rural areas especially in Blochistan, Sindh, southern Punjab and some hilly areas in the north of Pakistan, underground water is available and that is safe to drink but poor people cannot afford to dig well or install the hand pumps. So, they face serious shortage of water. Women have to travel long to fetch water or they have to use unsafe water of pounds. To give access to safe water to every one ATI (UK) and its parterres have started to install hand pumps in poor and needy areas. Few pictures of hand pumps installed by ATI are show below.

Every one can participate in this quot;safe water schemequot; of ATI. It is sadqa-e-Jaria and it will reward you till humanity would benefit from it. For details please visit www.al-mustafa.co.uk
